Production Manager M/F
To be based in one of our sites in North of Italy
YOUR SKILLSET & BACKGROUND
You have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or in Industrial Chemistry you are willing to further develop a career on a production site, dealing with various tasks.
You have significant experience (5 years or more) in chemical industry, in complex chemical processes; you are able to manage a team; you are fluent in English. Knowledge of Office Automation and SAP.
Finally, you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, will be able to work with people from various backgrounds, lead project team and accomplish with challenging targets. A high level of autonomy is required for the role; availability to move within Arkema sites in Italy or abroad
An experience in a lean manufacturing implementation would be a positive point.
Your responsibilities
Your main activities will be the following:
1) Safety
Ensure full compliance with local HSE legislation and Site rules by granting the safety of people and production facilities, as ruled by Dlgs 105/2015
Ensure compliance with laws on health and safety matters by collaborating with the HSE Department
Manage continuous improvement for all safety/health (OHSAS 18001), environment (ISO 14001) and quality (ISO 9001) procedures
2) Production
Ensure compliance with production plans in terms of quality, volumes, and timing compared to the budget values required by Business Unit
Monitor the main indicators of the plant, through analysis aimed to identify weak areas and propose corrective and preventive actions
Ensure the definition of guidelines, production procedures and resource allocation
Ensure daily and monthly reports release to track production performance
3) Efficiency and Technology
Collaborate with other Site Department to identify, define and implement improvement projects, in all areas : reliability, variables costs and organization
Collaborate with other Internal or Corporate Department to manage process improvements
4) Organization and Team Management
Ensure resources coordination in his own departments
Take care of people development through a close collaboration with HR Department.
Manage performance evaluation and propose relevant salary review
